For the readers of The Eco-System Bean Chaointe Artist, a brief Preface: I specifically chose the description of “responsorial antiphon” because of its rich meaning in how I view my work as an artist in these times. An antiphon has an ancient liturgical history. Originally from the Greek it literally means “ opposite voice”.  It is a call & response style of singing and chant found in the monastic Liturgy of the Hours and many American work songs of the early centuries.
